Spent most of my day painting these creeps.

Also getting my grisaille skills back with this Bill Murray portrait.

Built two big paneled boards, one is 3'x4' and the other is 4'x5'. Wish someone would gesso them for me.

It's always great to have a very supportive and handy father who has an abundance of industrial grade C-clamps. Thanks Dad!

This little lady has been coming along. Also getting ready to do a small portrait of Conan O'brien!

I've started a new series of paintings inspired by some of my favorite 60's magazine illustrators like Coby Whitmore, Lynn Buckham, Andy Virgil, Eric Earnshaw, and Joe Bowler to name a few.

It's tough painting in such a tiny nook but at least everything is close by.

Hate looking at the glare on the blacks. I'm looking forward to varnishing the shiz out of it so the darks flatten out, but I have a lot more painting to do before that can happen.

The board is finally covered

Finally, the board is covered! I haven't enjoyed painting this much in a long time. Although there are some lighting issues that need to be fixed I am extremely happy thus far.

This sucker is 3x4 feet, my largest endeavor yet. I'm super psyched cause this crazy idea has been chilling in my head for close to 10 months now and it finally felt right to start it.
